WiFi Design & Planning

WiFi design, surveys & installation in New Jersey

Most WiFi problems are design problems, not equipment problems. We survey the space, place access points properly, plan channels and power, then verify the result where people actually work.

What we do

Site surveys

Predictive and on-site surveys that account for walls, glass, metal, shelving and everything else that eats signal.

Access point placement

The right number of access points in the right places, cabled properly — not one router doing the work of five.

Channel & power planning

Channel plans and transmit power tuned so your access points cooperate instead of competing with each other.

Guest & staff networks

Separate guest access with its own limits, plus secure staff and device networks kept apart from each other.

Whole-home WiFi

Coverage to the back bedroom, the garage and the patio — done with real access points, not another extender.

Validation & tuning

We walk the space after install, measure throughput and roaming, and tune until it works where you use it.

Every engagement includes

  • Survey of the actual building before any hardware is quoted
  • Access point count, placement plan and cabling requirements
  • Secure staff, guest and device network separation
  • Post-install walk test and tuning
  • Support afterwards from the team that designed it

Common questions

Why does my WiFi drop in certain rooms?
Usually coverage or interference — too few access points, poor placement, or neighboring networks on the same channels. A survey identifies which before you spend money on hardware.
Will mesh equipment solve my problem?
Sometimes, in smaller homes. In larger homes and most businesses, cabled access points give far better performance and roaming than wireless mesh hops.
Do I need new cabling for WiFi?
Access points perform best on dedicated PoE cable runs. We handle that wiring ourselves as part of the same project.
Can you fix WiFi installed by someone else?
Yes. We frequently survey and re-tune existing deployments, reusing hardware where it is capable and replacing only what is holding you back.
